NEW DELHI - South Africa is set to take West Indies in their World Cup opener tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 24) at New Delhi's Ferozeshah Kotla ground.
Jacques Kallis, veteran South African all-rounder, is supporting his team's bowling attack to flourish at the World Cup, mainly with the presence of three specialist spinners in the side.
"I do think we have a good variety in our attack, with three world class spinners in our side" - given the slow pitches of the subcontinent," Kallis was talking to reporters after a practice session at their first match venue on New Delhi's Ferozeshah Kotla ground.
South Africa, traditionally known for their pace bowlers, has off-spinner Johan Botha, left-arm spinner Robin Peterson and promising leg-spinner Imran Tahir in their ranks, apart from other part-time spin bowlers.
