Hambantota - Talking to Geo Super legendary left-arm fast bowler Wasim Akram offered his services to give few tips and tricks to young left-arm pacers, Wahab Riaz and Junnaid Khan, in the Pakistan Squad for the World Cup.
He told channel that he had told Waqar and Shahid Afridi that he could use his spare time; he has enough being in Sri Lanka, to help Wahab and Junaid. He further told that he loves working with young bowlers, especially the left-armers. Wasim Akram, now a noted TV commentator and cricket expert, said so far he has not seen new pacer Junaid bowling but heard good things about him from the coach and captain.
Wasim Akram, considered to be one of the best left-arm fast bowlers in the history of cricket, has been spending time with the Pakistani players and chief coach Waqar Younis in Sri Lanka.
Wasim Akram expects fiery spells from Shoaib Akhtar even he is not, reportedly, fully fit. He said further that the reverse swing would not be as effective as it is being thought in the ongoing World Cup
