DHAKA – Bnagladesh will take on South Africa tomorrow (March 19) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka. England’s victory against West Indies in Thursday’s thriller left Bangladesh on the edge.
Can Bangladesh reproduce the England effect? They have to; otherwise they would be thrown out of the tournament. If they win then only their hopes will be alive to go through to quarterfinals, subject to the victory of India-West Indies clash scheduled on March 20.
The match will start on 08:30 PST (09:00 IST, 04:30 GMT) and will be officiated by Daryl Harper and Aleem Dar, Rod Tucker (third), Enamul Hoque-Moni (fourth), Jeff Crowe (referee).
Both teams will announce their final elevens just before the match from the following squads:
