MOHALI – Pakistan lost the semi-final against arch-rivals India by 29 runs at Mohali on March 30, 2011.
In the post-match presentation with Ravi Shastri; Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi said sorry to Pakistan nation for not fulfilling their hopes.
But I want to say on behalf of Pakistan Nation:
“We love you Afridi .... you took the team from no where to semi-final with the grace of Allah Taála.
No need to say sorry .... we are proud of you and our team.
Love you all!”
