COLOMBO – In the last quarterfinal of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 will be played today (Sat/Mar 26) between co-host Sri Lanka and patchy England at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
WEATHER REPORT: Isolated thunderstorms are predicted today at Colombo with high temperature hovering between 78°F to 87°F; therefore, players have to sweat quite a bit as humidity levels are expected to be between 68% to 78%.
As there is 20% prediction of rain and isolated thunderstorms in the evening; therefore, match may occasionally be halted in the second innings of the match and D/L method will come to play its part to decide the fate of the teams.
The match will start on 14:00 PST (14:30 local time, 09:00 GMT).
