Pakistan v New Zealand (Group A) - Match Update: After 30 overs New Zealand Struggling on 119/4

KANDY - - New Zealand struggling on 119 for the loss of four wickets after 30 overs. Spinners attack led by skipper Shahid Afridi not only broke the scoring streak but also claimed two wickets in quite quick succession.

First Martin Guptill clean bowled by Afridi and then James Franklin plum LBW on the bowling of Muhammad Hafeez.

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. Shoaib Akhtar hit the stumps of Brendon McCullum in the very first over. Then Umar Gul struck to get rid of Jamie How.

Ross Taylor is batting on 35 and Scott Styris on 4, who just joined Taylor after Franklin.
