New Delhi, India - After the turn down of extension appeal put forward by BCCI to ICC; cricket associations in India running hard to win the hosting of India-England match scheduled on 27th February.
While Bangalore is considered to be the favourite as an alternate venue to the Kolkata’s Eden Gardens for the February 27 game, Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) too now wants to host the high-profile match whenever the ICC wants it to.
The ICC snatched the only India match from the country's most famous cricket venue after it found that the stadium was not match-fit. The international body also rejected a plea from the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), forwarded to the ICC by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), to reconsider its decision.
