World Cup Ticket Being Sold in Black Market - Bangalore Police Arrested a Culprit With 80 Tickets

Bangalore - As Cricket World Cup fever is on in sub-continent and bad boys are looking to make it as profitable as possible. Reportedly, Bangalore police captured a person trying to sell world cup tickets in the black market. Police also recovered 80 members’ stand world cup tickets from him.

The 23-year-old person, named as Umesh Shetty, was detained outside the Bangalore world cup venue, M Chinnaswamy Stadium, trying to sell tickets to cricket fans.

Karnataka State Cricket Association sources said the tickets found with the captured culprit could be bogus, since the game body was yet to get the passes from the BCCI for the match between England and India on February 27.
