Bangladesh exhibited a brave show getting closer enough to the target with the help of flying start provided by Imrul Kayes and Tamim Iqbal; but Munaf Patel break the momentum by getting wicket just at the right time for India. Tamim Iqbal was the most run scorer for Bangladesh with his 70 off 86 balls. Skipper Shakib Al Hasan also contributed with 55 off 50 balls. Munaf Patel took four wickets; while Zaheer Khan claimed two wickets.

Earlier, Sehwag smashed blazing 175 equally accompanied by young Virat Kohli who got his first world cup ton and was unbeaten on 100, setting a mammoth total of 370 for Bangladesh which eventually proved too much for Bangladesh.

India will take on England in their next world cup tie on Feb. 27 in Bangalore; while Bangladesh is set to play against Ireland on Feb. 25 at Dhaka.

Tomorrow (Sunday, Feb. 20) New Zealand will face Kenya and Sri Lanka will take on Canada at Chennai and Hanbantota, respectively.
