MUMBAI, India (Mon, Apr 30) – Indian Premier
League (IPL 2012) is certainly providing the thrill, excitement and
entertainment which is believed to be the part of T20 cricket. The season five
of the ongoing IPL is almost on half line and top positions on the points table
are occupied by Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai.

by Mumbai Indians (MI), the other night, helped them life their hope to qualify

a trivial 100. Rohit Sharma scored all-important 42 as Mumbai got past the

In the first match
of the day, Delhi Daredevils (DD) kept their nerves in the dying moments to win
the thriller by one run against Rajasthan Royals (RR). Skipper Virender Sehwag
again played 66-run (off 39 balls) innings to take is team to a formidable total
of 152/6.

(RR) put up a great show but couldn’t finish perfectly as Delhi bowlers showed a great discipline
in their bowling. Ajinkya Rahane’s unbeaten 84-run innings wasted when Owais
Shah was run out by an under-arm throw of the wicketkeeper on the very last
ball of the match.
Delhi is still leading the points table
with 14 points in 9 matches, followed by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai
Indians (MI). Latest points table with respective team standings are presented
