MUMBAI - The big final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 will be played today (Sat/Apr 02) between India and Sri Lanka at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
The fixture promises to be a real thriller not as big as the second semi-final between Pakistan and India; but it is expected to be a crusher as first time in the World Cup history two Asian nations will be battling it out for ultimate pride.
WEATHER REPORT: Mostly sunny weather is predicted today at Mumbai throughout the day with high temperature hovering between 76°F to 89°F. In such high temperature will players have to sweat quite a bit as humidity levels are expected to be between 50% to 73%.
There’s absolutely no prediction of rain throughout the match which is a Day/Night fixture and will start on 14:00 PST (14:30 local time, 09:00 GMT).
