MUMBAI – Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first against India in the final of the ICC Cricket World 2011 at at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. 

Sri Lanka is missing all rounder Angelo Mathews and replaced by Suraj Randiv; while India is missing Ashish Nehara who has been replaced by Sreesanth.
