NAGPUR, India – Big Saturday coming having big match with two big sides of the tournament are going to compete.
India will take on South Africa tomorrow at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur. The match is equally important for India to be invincible in the group and forward to quarterfinals without a defeat while South Africa will try to prove that the last downfall against England was just a mishap.
Apart from the teams’ wishes to be victorious; both of them will be low in confidence due to their low-par performance in the recent matches against their respective opponents. In the last two matches India’s top-order batting vulnerability has been exposed while in the first two matches their bowling almost let them down.
On the other side, South Africa suddenly got a shocked defeat in the hands of England in a low-scoring thriller. That was the first time their middle-order was exposed to get some pressure and it failed severely to respond positively.
A lot will depend on the strengths of the both sides which is batting for India and bowling for South Africa. South Africa would have a serious blow if they would have to miss their leg-spinner Imran Tahir, who got injured during the training session. Second factor will be how effectively both of them will exploit the weakness of the other team.
