Dubai Test Updates: Umar Gul leading the strike as England struggling to avoid innings defeat

DUBAI, UAE (Jan. 19) – Umar Gul bruises the England’s hope to control the things after they fought back quite impressively and succeeded to curtail Pakistan on just 338 on the third day of the first Test underway at Dubai Sports Complex, Dubai.

According to latest updates from the field; in post-Tea Break session England are tumbling deep in trouble after losing their top seven batsmen for just 87 on the board in 43rd over of their second innings.

Veteran pacer Umar Gul is leading the proceedings for Pakistan in this innings and picked up 4 wickets giving away just 26 runs in 12 overs e bowled until now. First innings destroyer Saeed Ajmal has also picked up two wickets while Abdur Rehman shared one wicket. 

England keep on losing wickets for regular intervals after losing their Skipper Andrew Strauss on just 6 on board and no batsman, other than Jonathan Trott, able to play Pakistani bowlers with confident. Once Trott got his way back to pavilion the things changed completely for England.

 Pakistan resumed their first innings today at 288/7 and added 50 more runs that helped drag the score to 338 to take a substantial led on 146 which is proving to be more then enough right now for England.
