Earlier England had a nightmarish day one after they decided to bat first after winning the toss.  

England finished first innings just after the Tea Break in 73^rd over on Day 1. Matt Prior remained highest runs getter for England with an unbeaten 70-run innings. Graeme Swann and Eoin Morgan contributed with 34 and 24 respectively. Five English batsmen failed to score in double figure.

Saeed Ajmal wraps up England tail with James Anderson plum LBW claiming his 7^th wickets in the innings. Along with Saeed Ajmal’s career best 7-55; Aizaz Cheema, Muhammad Hafeez and Abdur Rehman picked up one wicket each.
