England finishes first innings after the Tea Break in 73^rd over on Day 1 of the first Test here at Dubai Sports Complex (DSC), Dubai. Matt Prior remains unbeaten at 70. Graeme Swann and Eoin Morgan contributed with 34 and 24 respectively. Five English batsmen failed to score in double figure.

 

Saeed Ajmal picks up 7 wickets for just 55 runs; while Aizaz Cheema, Muhammad Hafeez and Abdur Rehman picked up one wicket each.

England won the toss and elected to bat first in the opener of 3-match series today at Dubai Sports Complex (DSC), Dubai.
