ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 -- Indian Squad:
BCCI announced yesterday (Saturday, December 17, 2010) the initial 30-members squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 starting February 19, 2011. Two of the big misses are Veteran batsman Rahul Dravid and out-of-form pacer Irfan Pathan.
Few youngsters, like Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, will get chance to mark their talent with some of the legendary players like Virendar Sehwag and master blaster Sachin Tendulakar. As soon as the Littler Master, Sachin Tendulkar, will face the first ball of the mega event; he will become the only second player to participate in the consecutive sixth world cup. Before Sachin Tendulkar this honour was just achieved by Javed Miandad, the legendary batsman from Pakistan.
