DHAKA, Bangladesh (Sun, Mar. 11) – Pakistan cricket team had a tough training session at Shere Bangla National Stadium on Saturday ahead of their Asia Cup opener against the hosts Bangladesh today (Sunday, Mach 11) on the same venue.

After the evening session; Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq advised his team fellows not to take Bangladesh as an easy opponent because the hosts might be demonstrative at times to upset any world class team, especially playing at their own soil in front of their own cricket-crazy crowd.
Just to refresh the memories; the stats show that total 29 ODI matches between the sides have been played between the same teams. Bangladesh had managed to win just once, and that was a mega upset of the 1999 Cricket World Cup.
Keeping in view the fact mentioned above; Misbah told that despite their almost 100% winning record against the hosts, Pakistan would not make the mistake of taking Bangladesh lightly.
“We don’t want to commit that mistake. Bangladesh is a difficult opposition at home, because they know the condition very well,” Misbah said. “On their day they can upset you, so we will not take them lightly. We have to put in our hundred percent, we really have to come out hard to win the game.”
All matches of Asia Cup Cricket Tournament will be a day/night fixtures and today’s match will start at 14:00 local time, 13:00 PST (08:00 GMT. Match will be supervised by Ian Gould & Paul Reiffel.
