India v West Indies, Fourth ODI -- India outshine West Indies as Sehwag enters into record books

INDORE, India (Dec. 08) – India won the fourth ODI by 153 runs against West Indies today here at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. West Indies just managed to score 265 in reply to India’s mammoth 418.

Ravindra Jadeja and Rahul Sharma played a key role with the ball to temper the hopes of West Indies to square the series. Now India has 3-1 decisive lead in theis 5-match ODI series.

The victory of India might be a routine news in cricketing world but a blistering, world record innings played by Indian skipper Virender Sehwag would be remembered for long. India piled up gigantic 418 runs for the loss of five courtesy to 219-run innings by super Sehwag.

Today is certainly a stunning and memorable day in the history of cricket as India's blazing opener Virender Sehwag played a historical ODI innings of 219 runs off just 149 balls. He broke the record (200 not out) of his own teammate, the little master Saching Tendulakar.

India finishes their brilliant batting piling up gigantic 418 runs for the loss of five wickets.

Earlier batting first after winning the toss; Indian openers Virender Sehwag and Guatam Gambhir gave the hosts a flying start in the fourth ODI gainst West Indies at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore.

Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina also scored healthy knocks of 67 (67) and 55 (44). Rohit Sharma (27) and Virat Kohli (23) blazed in the last moments to lead India to get past 400-mark.

Denesh Ramdin was the top scorer with his 96-run innings with Lendl Simmons (36), Marlon Samuels (33), Andre Russell (29) and Sunil Narine (27*) as the other significant contributors for India.
