DHAKA, Bangladesh – Pakistan finish their batting in the only T20I against Bangladesh and set a moderate total of just 135 runs losing 7 wickets. This is the lowest total of Pakistan against Bangladesh in Twenty20 format.
Pakistan decided to bat first after winning the toss and got a flying start and were 45 in first five overs losing Imran Farhat after making 16 off 10 balls. Then came the best all rounder of Bangladesh, Shakib al Hasan and bowled beautifully to pick up inform Hafeez at total score of 61. Hafeez was the highest runs getter wit his 25 off 31 balls.
Asad Shafiq, Umar Akmal and skipper Misbah played little knocks of 19, 20, 21 respectively. Shahid Afridi (8) failed to make a difference and caught on the boundary line trying to hit the second six of his innings.
Shakib and Kapali picked up two wickets each while Razzak and Nasir Hossain claimed 1 wicket each.
Now Bangladesh needs 136 to win this T20I with a run rate of 6.8 in 20 overs.
